Baba Yaga

Baba Yaga is a complex character who straddles the line between good and evil. Her wicked schemes often end up benefiting her innocent victims, creating a duality that inspired reflections on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. Baba Yaga's hands sandwich the proud national colours of Ukraine, and the gateway to her hut is constructed from the skeletons of her victims. Her black goose represents missiles poised to strike their next innocent target. A work in remembrance of the sacrifices made by the Ukrainian people.
